Andy's Provision Companyis dedicated to delivering meat products of exceptional
quality and flavor that are healthy, natural and authentic. The company strives
to innovate by combining traditional formulations and products with value
adding technologies that enhance product safety, appearance, nutritional
value and
flavor.
Company History
Andy’s Provisions Company
originated in 1932 in Paterson New Jersey. “Andy” Angera
began making Italian sausage in the back of a small grocery
shop soon after arriving from Italy. He later
moved to his own facility in Paterson and then to a larger facility in
Haledon. In the 1950’s his three sons, Andy, Anthony
and Joseph, joined him in the business, which expanded greatly
while still maintaining a commitment to
traditional formulations and production techniques. In the early 1970’s
the company moved to West Paterson. As we enter
the 21st century, a third generation of the Angera family has joined the
company
with a focus on maintaining the traditional quality and formulations that
has characterized the company since its inception. This new era for the
company
welcomes a commitment to introducing new technologies that will complement
and enhance products that are virtually the same as those produced by the
original Andy over 75 years ago. This new era also brought a move to the
Litchfield Hills of Connecticut to be closer to the natural and organic
suppliers that make our products so wholesome and delicious.
